Software:

At the core of all of our studios is Digidesign's award winning program, Pro Tools. Pro Tools is an industry standard and features some of the most powerful audio processing capabilities available. All of our studios and editing suites feature the Waves Platinum, Restoration and SSL plug ins for superior processing power.

Hardware:

Phase Media's outboard gear and mic selection is second to none! Using gear by companies such as Universal Audio, Great River, Focusrite, Neumann, Shure, and AKG, we achieve better sounding results than our competition. We also use high definition analog to digital Apogee converters to digitize audio before manipulation.

Space:

Phase Media has 5 different studios to handle all your recording and editing needs. Studio A features a large 21 x 25' “live” room and a smaller 7 x 12' “iso” room. Studio B features a smaller 4 x 4' booth for those sessions that require less room.

For those in downtown Chicago, our Studio C might be a good option. Studio C is located in the heart of the city at LaSalle and Huron.

In addition to our 3 main studios, we also have two dedicated audio editing suites.

Communications:

If you or your talent are in a different state (or even country!) we can help. Phase Media has “radio style” audio hybrids, so patching in a phone is simple. Two of our studios also have ISDN capabilities using the number one ISDN codec in the world, the Telos Zephyr XStream. (To learn more about ISDN, please visit our “Services” page.)

All of our computer networked studios have T1 internet access, so uploading files to your FTP server is quick and easy! All studios also have Wi-Fi internet access for your laptop.
